Today 6th March 2018 marks the 61st anniversary of Ghana’s political independence from British colonial rule and the nation’s most active reggae twins (DOUBLE D) won’t let this great historic day pass without the release of “Never Give Up”, a highly motivational reggae piece they’ve cut for their fellow Ghanaian youth to encourage them to move on up in life amidst whatever troubling challenges.
Derrick Quaynor and Desmond Quaynor (the twin brothers and duo) when asked why the release of ” Never Give Up” on the nation’s independence day gave this very conscious reply: “we scheduled this release to this very important date in Ghana’s political history to remind our fellow youth nationwide that beyond every tough struggle lies a great sweet victory, so they should never surrender in their daily endeavours, regardless of the many rough obstacles on the journey to their personal goals”.
Double D’s “Never Give Up” is a Nicko Rebel Music production. The song was mixed and mastered at the Egalitarian Studio.
“Never Give Up” will be released on multiple blogs mid day today, 12 GMT.
Next on the duo’s gig calendar is between March and June is a series of concerts on which they are billed as supporting artistes.
The duo can be followed on social media via Double D GH.
