Staging the “Peace Love & Unity Concert” in Bole, his birthplace, did the magic for REDfyah. The concert was truly a much-awaited treat, inferring from the huge turn-up and the highly positive crowd response REDfyah commanded out his entire performance time.
There was never a single dull moment during Fyah’s performance. Throughout his one hour forty minutes set, REDfyah held the crowd in constant euphoria, giving them real good reggae vibes. The Bole fans have studied his songs to the core such that many sang along with him from start to finish, this is a pure display of loyal home support. It’s a signal REDfyah is well-accepted in his hometown, thus he can be used by the royals and the elders for moral advocacies or as a peace ambassador during times of volatility or serious political violence to instil calm in the Bole community or in the entire Gonjaland.
Under the theme “Bole For Peace”, this year’s “Peace Love & Unity Concert” had a profound relevance that can’t be underated — as Bole is at a stage where peace is most needed to avert all forms of potential political violence or civilian-police altercations.
