Senior reggae-dancehall artiste Shatta Rako has made it public that he set up his recording studio as a support opportunity to aid the talented-but-underresourced young artistes who can’t afford the standard high music production cost most producers are charging per track.
Rako’s Legends Studios which spans music recording, professional graphic designing and paraphernalia products orders, is meant to support young artistes across the genres. The studio’s privileges cover senior artistes too.
Added to the support services being provided by the Legend Studios team are accompanying blogging which is towards the promo of the songs recorded under the Rako Support Project.
Currently, the sub-projects planned for the reggae-dancehall artistes are serial riddim album releases and multi-beat compilation album releases for the Hip Hop and AfroBeats artistes.
Farther next in line on the project list is a periodic concert that will be staged to give secondary exposure to the artistes. This concert comes off as a real world marketing opportunity for the Legends Studios beneficiary artistes to sell their brand to a massive audience.
